At Waze, we’ve been helping savvy drivers save time on the road for years, and now, thanks to our new Order Ahead feature and an exciting partnership with Dunkin’ Donuts, we’re helping them save time in line, too.

Perks Ahead!

Using the Waze app, loyal Dunkin’ Donuts customers can now order their favorite sweet treats, savory sandwiches, and refreshing beverages before hitting the road. Then, they can shift into the fast lane by speeding past the line to pick their order up inside the Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant of their choice.

“We are proud to be the first brand to integrate with Waze to enhance the mobile experience and offer our DD Perks members with faster, more convenient ways for ordering ahead,” says Scott Hudler, ‎Chief Digital Officer at Dunkin' Brands. “Loyalty is the main focus for all that we do at Dunkin’ Donuts. Leveraging the best technologies and partnering with leading brands like Waze helps our brand continue to stand apart for valuing our loyal guests and providing them with exciting and innovative new ways to purchase Dunkin’ Donuts food and beverages as quickly and seamlessly as possible.”

Here’s how it works. Wazers with the Dunkin’ app installed can identify their preferred store location on the map and simply tap “Order Ahead” to connect directly to Dunkin’ Donuts On-the-Go Mobile Ordering experience. Then they can order ahead, pay from their phone, and speed past the line in-store when they arrive. You can even apply DD Perks rewards and offers, and save your order as a favorite for one-tap ordering next time. Just make sure you have the latest version of your Dunkin’ Mobile App installed to start taking advantage of this sweet new perk.

Driving Loyalty

With the Order Ahead feature, Dunkin’ Donuts fans can speed past traffic and the line to get their Dunkin’ faster. And this is just the beginning. Waze’s new feature offers brands everywhere new opportunities to enhance their mobile experience and, ultimately, drive loyalty.

“Our new Order Ahead feature expands Waze’s mission of saving time on the road by enabling consumers to now also save time in-store, while giving brands a new opportunity to engage with their customers,” says Jordan Grossman, Waze’s Head of Business Partnerships North America. “We’re excited to launch this feature with Dunkin’ Donuts, a long-standing partner of ours, and look forward to rolling it out with more brand advertisers in the near future to further personalize the driving experience for Wazers, saving them time and money.”
